Story
About The Project
Our goal was to step away from the traditional, downbeat, overly sentimental short film to provide a comedic ensemble piece focusing on authentic, quirky characters in an original world.
We're confident that we've written an honest story about friendship, belonging and the responsibility we have to create accepting communities, as well as the problems that result when we're unfair to each other.
Our aim was to film something full of heart and peppered with comedy, designed so that that anyone could easily understand and enjoy.

Current Team
About This Team
Stuart and Brad are long-time buddies. They went to NYU together, both studying at the Tisch School of the Arts. In fact, at one very low point in both their lives, they shared a bunk bed. Which is funny now, but it really sucked at the time.
Stuart, who co-wrote, directed and produced THE 9TH ANNUAL BROOKLYN PICKLE BOWL, has been fortunate enough to find film and TV production work in New York City since graduating. He's co-produced Sundance selected short films, worked with amazing people on tiny independent features and also big-budget blockbusters like The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Lately, he's assisted an executive producer/ director who helps Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson solve mysteries on the CBS television series Elementary.
Brad, who wrote and produced THE 9TH ANNUAL BROOKLYN PICKLE BOWL, currently works on an Emmy Award-winning television series. After graduating from NYU's Department of Dramatic Writing, he moved to Los Angeles. There, he took classes at The Groundlings, assisted writers, worked at a startup, and helped on short films. He's a Wisconsin native who enjoys the comedies of Judd Apatow and can basically recite the movie Wayne's World. He's an avid writer and creative type, whose 5 year plan includes writing Heavyweights 2.
