Story
Mission Statement
Our talented cast is reflective of the culturally and ethnically diverse Brooklyn community where All Souls Episcopal church resides and behind the camera, we're led by an African-American female director and a crew and post-production team that is 75% POC and 80% female.About The Project
We live in a country that's become incredibly, dangerously polarized by questions of faith. The fastest growing religious segment in America is the "nones"—people who don't belong to any faith at all—and yet attendance at new, mostly-evangelical megachurches also continues to rise. We think in absolutes, but we live in gray areas. These are difficult times in America. We don't know how to resolve the differences between us.
The time is right for a story about characters who live in the muddy middle, rather than absolute certainty: a man of the cloth who's lost his faith, but not his will to serve his congregation, and a strong believer struggling with her own personal self-doubt. We need ALL SOULS.
The Reverends Morgan Thomas and Molly Dole are in different phases of their faith. Fresh out of a difficult marriage and a bitter divorce, Molly came to All Souls Episcopal to find meaning in her life by diving into her service as a Minister of Faith and her own personal belief in God. Morgan, on the other hand, is losing his best friend to cancer and feels the monotony of his life has no meaning left. He begins to wonder, "does God even exist?"
But what do you do when your job is to counsel others through their faltering faith when you no longer believe yourself?

The Future of All Souls
Once post-production is completed, All Souls will be submitted to festivals like Sundance, Cannes and the Tribeca Film Festival for competition in the web-series and short film categories. After it has made the initial rounds in the festival circuit, it will be released online via YouTube as six 5 minute episodes.
All Souls is currently being pitched to networks and production companies as an hour-long episodic drama. We have many seasons of the story planned for Morgan and Molly but we need your support to continue so we can share them with the world.
