Chip is a beautifully shot film that explores "fatherhood" in a different light. We never get a chance to honor the man that stood up to be a father in someone's life without any obligation to do so.

Mission Statement
While this project is a personal story of my childhood, it extends to young boys and girls with similar upbringings. My mission is to tell meaningful slice of life stories from underrepresented groups.About The Project
THE STORY
Chip follows an ambitious eight-year-old as she sets out on a mission to get a father of her own. She grew up watching brides walking down the aisle accompanied by their fathers, daddy-daughter dancing duos, and princess in movies with their fathers. If princesses can have them, why can't she? Trinity, her mom, thinks it's better off if Chip doe not knows her father. It's better to shield her from the truth than the disappointment that would come from it.
Personal Story
I have always wanted the Judd Apatow Experience by casting my best friends and family in my films. Growing up, I was not exposed to film. Now, every chance I get, I want everyone to experience film in every way possible. With this production, I got the opportunity to film with my family and it was one of the best experiences. My niece was cast as the lead actress, Chip, and my sister was cast as her mother, Trinity. Since this story was personal, it was awesome to have my family there to go on the journey with me.A Note From The Director:
Chip is a passion project that I been working on for two years. After shooting my first short film, I had an itch to shoot another one. Not being able to come up with a clever outside-of-the-box idea, I decided to go inward. I kept racking my brain, asking myself, do I have any stories that might not be a "normal" human experience, but still relatable? That's where Chip came about. Why Fund Us?
Our original shoot day was pushed back due to the Covid-19 pandemic causing us to lose some of our funding. The team still wanted to get the project done-- so we doubled up on positions, sourced equipment, and everyone was hands-on at all times. By the end of it, we were exhausted but we successfully shot CHIP. We are now ready to show our finished project to the world, but we need your help! Funds raised will be spent on post-production costs.
