About The Project
About the project
Debt Men. A gritty, dark comedy that dives into a world of criminal behavior. Long time friends John, fresh out of jail, and Sid are two low level hustlers trying to make a buck while living on the wrong side of the law. Hired to track down a man named Mac for information, they find themselves balancing their questionable career and personal life. Through their actions, we understand what they stand for at their moral core.
I wrote this script two years before my daughter was born. Imagining what it would be like to be a father but unsure of my readiness. My confidence was shook, I had trepidations I imagine others must feel. How does one balance life and career while trying to give your all to a child? How will this affect the relationship with my significant other? Finances...Personally changes...Sacrifice! Selfish behavior!!! These questions sparked my interest. I took an honest look in the mirror. and asked myself "What's inside?" and "Where is your heart truly at?" With that, the story of Debt Men was born. At the end of the day, being a father to my little girl is the best thing to ever happen to me.
