Have you ever caught yourself judging a homeless person who was asking for money? FIT(IN) brings a homeless character to the spotlight and starts a whole discussion about the way society views this issue.

Story
Mission Statement
52.765 people were homeless in Los Angeles in 2018. We want to support this local but also global issue and bring a different perspective to our neighbors. Our crew is a mix of Brazilians and Americans, men and women from different backgrounds.About The Project
It’s another busy day in Los Angeles. You stop by a traffic light and a guy asks for money with his “God Bless You” sign. You have a handful of coins in your sight. There is something special about this guy though. He looks more like a hipster than a homeless man. What would you do? Do you give him your quarters? Or would you rather keep them for laundry? That’s the question that launches us into the story in the short film “FIT(IN)”. Aaron, a sarcastic guy in his late 20s, decides to give his quarters to Shane, a 32 year old, and supposedly homeless man, who wears a black hat and an orange bandana. From that moment on, his skeptical girlfriend Megan, raises a discussion on whether Aaron did the right choice or not. While they try and prove their points, the film unfolds as we follow the life of this suspicious homeless man.

"FITTIN' exposes our judging eyes towards homelessness and aims to change the lenses through which society looks at it.”

"When in LA, you can either blind yourself or choose to look around and really see what’s going on. It's hard to remain quiet. This movie is about an awakening.”

"It has to be a community effort!"
If the storyteller doesn't believe the story he or she is telling, there is no magic. Our crew is made up of people who want to tell this story, first of all! We have Ruby Cruz, a line-producer who doesn't stop until we get the job done; we have Lorraine Yang, the co-producer and gaffer who always make sure the energy on set is up there; we have Keiara Scranton, our make up artist who assures everyone looks great on camera; John Scott is our ears on set - he will guarantee every emotion that comes through words is captured properly; Rafa Rocha is the one who will make everything come together in post-production; We have Giacomo Girardi creating our amazing key visuals for the posters; and we have the experience and knowledge of Fernando Camargo and Felipe Cusnir as our first executive producers to bring insights and ideas to the production.
There are still a couple of people to come on board. And, of course, we need you to join us and support the film with any amount you can!
It is our wish to make this film and put this story out in the world. We believe in the power of movies as a social transformation tool, and if one single person changes her/his belief towards homeless people, we are already on the right path.
We are committing to do our best and make not only a good movie but also contribute to the conversation that several organizations and people have already started with society. We'll be commiting every Monday night until the end of the campaign to go out into the streets, dedicating time to talk to homeless people and giving them the love they deserve.
If you believe in this story and want to see it out in the world, make a pledge and help us getting FIT(IN) done.
Thank you for your support!
