Forget Me Nots
Los Angeles, California | Film Short
Drama, Thriller
'Forget Me Nots' is a story about family, mental health & how far someone will go to protect their own, particularly in the Filipino community. There's still so much stigma surrounding mental health & we want to do our part to change that. This film gets up close & personal, and we're ready to talk.

The Story
Mental health and Asian American representation are two very important topics that mean a lot to us. When we began to write our script, initially it was going to be a comedy. When we started to dig deeper and allowed ourselves to explore darker worlds of reality and imagination, our story's journey shifted, which led us to writing 'Forget me Nots', a psychological thriller/drama.
It's inspired by true moments and events. As terrifying as it is to put our personal stories out there, we have to overcome the fear of exposing ourselves and everything that makes us who we are to inspire others to also share, empathize, provoke and connect. Mental Health is a natural part of life and should not be taboo. No one is weaker because of it. We want to do our part in shattering the stigma, and we invite you to be a part of the conversation.
