About The Project

Hi, my name is Crystal Scott, and I am making my first feature film, Girl Clown!

Based on my critically-acclaimed, award-winning short film, Girl Clown is a quirky romantic comedy set in New York City.

It is the story of Laura, a mousy young woman who attempts to overcome her shyness and find true love by becoming a clown. Featuring a cast of colorful characters, and was written from my real-life experiences of shyness, and of being a clown in NYC.

Our film will be shot on-location in NYC this year, and feature an amazing cast of seasoned, New York actors. The film will be produced by Little Fairy Films, a women-led production team.

We already have an investor committed to fund 50% of production,

and we need your help so we can fund the other 50% and make our film a reality.
