God Country | Feature Length Horror Film
We're searching for passionate horror fans to help us realize the grim and gory world of God Country. We've spent our lives dissecting the genre to learn the ins-and-outs of horror cinema, and we can't wait to share the twisted tale we've created.
Inclusion StatementWe tell a story sadly common to LGBTQ+ people. Ben Marsh is a childhood victim of harsh play-yard homophobia and outright torment. Despite the scars of his youth, Ben grows into a new life with his boyfriend in Chicago before being forced to leave his beloved enclave and face his hometown once more.

About This Team
God Country is the feature film debut of writer/director, Jake Parker and is produced by the fastest growing horror publication on the internet, Modern Horrors. In 2017, Parker collaborated with the Modern Horrors team for their first original short film, Bedtime. After receiving positive remarks from viewers and critics alike (including Cinema Sins' SinCast), the team decided to work together on something bigger, bolder, and far more terrifying--the end result is God Country.
Unlike any indie horror offerings making their way to digital store fronts, God Country will be shot in middle Tennessee featuring, almost exclusively, local talent and crew.
