Go Go Brothers Series
'The Go Go Brothers' is an online video series where kids are able to see their drawings and stories come to life through animation. Is your child creative? Would they love to see their drawings come alive? That's what we do. THEIR stories are where OUR adventures begin.
Mission StatementWe believe that while we may feel limited in life, there is no limit to the imagination. 'The Go Go Brothers' online animated series began as a family project to offer our boys, who both have special needs, a place to escape. After all, everyone needs to find a way a way to 'keep going'.
About The Project
Hello! We are the Kelly family of Orlando, Florida. 'The Go Go Brothers' is an online video series that originally began as a way for us to escape into an animated and educational world.
We soon learned that EVERYONE needs a place where we can forget about the challenges of our daily lives.
What began as a therapeutic adventure for our small family, has become a movement to provide a special place where ALL children are welcome.
So many children, like 'The Go Go Brothers', have unique gifts and special talents. We are passionate to provide a platform where these kids get to express themselves. Oldest Sibling, nicknamed "Rooey", is on the Autism Spectrum and also has ADHD. The youngest, nicknamed "Bean Boy", was born with Spina Bifida. Both boys face everyday challenges, but they'll still live a beautiful life. That's the message we want to share with all children. No matter your circumstances, no matter your challenges, your voice matters, and deserves to be heard.
You're invited! YOUR story is where OUR adventure begins.
As more and more children's drawings and stories have poured in...so has the ambition! 'The Go Go Brothers' show has grown beyond our living room. In order to create more episodes of the animated series, we're going to need your help.
We're crowdfunding to allow us to bring at least 5 new episodes to life. If we exceed our goal, we'll do more. Be sure to like the first 20 episodes...they'll all be free to watch on the Youtube Kids App! (And regular Youtube too!)
Everybody is capable of something. If 'The Go Go Brothers', helps a child find that something, no matter how small, we will have our done our job.
Join the Go Go World today by pledging your support!
We know these are overwhelming times, and everybody is dealing with it in their own ways. But that is what brings us together: Our own gifts, our unique abilities, and how we manage the world around us...THAT is how we are going to get through this.
Let's continue creating together. We love you all.
-The Go Go Family
Haven't seen the Go Go Brothers?
No worries, every adventure follows a familiar structure, so that anyone can join the adventure at any time!
There is always a new character to meet, and a new story to see, whenever you’re on an adventure with the Go Go Brothers! From within the Go Go Headquarters, you and the brothers use the power of imagination to set off on wild new adventures every episode!
A comedy-driven series that encourages kids from all walks of life to share their creations, to dream big, and to KEEP GOING. Here are some key details:
- Each episode starts with the brothers encountering a new character in the ‘Go Go World’.
- They hit the ‘Go Go Button’ to activate the ‘Go Go Generator’.
- The ‘Go Go Generator’ reveals the name of the child who created the drawing, as well as the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘where’, and ‘why’ of their creation.
- Once they have all the information on the new creation, they pull out their ‘Go Go Mallet’, and start their adventure by hitting the ‘Go Go Gong’.
The simple act of 'creation' and art-making is a therapy unlike any other. It is scientifically proven to result in improvements in social skills and cognitive development.
This is why we invite kids into the creative process. Art is the one common language that can bring us all together. Even if you can't speak, see, or hear...you can let your voice be known through your art.
And the "Go Go Brothers" series has an established record of bringing voices of underrepresented children to the screen. From non-verbal to gender-fluid children, we've showcased stories and drawings from children all across the country, who so often go unnoticed. All children, no matter their circumstances, need to know that they matter.
Art is how we get there...it's what makes us keep going. We’re committed to this movement, we hope you will be too.
We've always kept costs low, and paid for production 100% out of our own pocket. Now is the time to move to the next level. Keeping everything very low key has made 'The Go Go Brothers' accessible but isn't the easiest or fastest way to work. The animation and post-production period alone requires months of time and dedication.
Unlike previous 'The Go Go Brothers' online videos, we're going to hire talented artists from around the country to speed up episode production. That means you'll get new content faster!
'The Go Go Brothers' completed episodes will be FREE on Youtube Kids so that all children can easily access and enjoy our content, and parents know that it is safe!

How do I know you'll be able to finish this new batch of episodes on time?
We've been doing this for almost three years, we know the time, effort, and teamwork it takes to finish an episode. With the added help of professional animators, we'll be able to shorten post-production time and offer a higher quality of the final product. We're confident about delivering them on time.
If you hit your goal, what happens to the money you make after that?
Any contributions beyond our goal will help us create even more episodes, and allow us to share more children's drawings and stories with the world.
Why are you using Seed&Spark instead of Kickstarter?
• Simple: Seed&Spark is a crowdfunding platform whose mission revolves around empowering diverse voices in media. Their approach aligns so perfectly with the goals of the Go Go World, making sure diverse populations have their voices heard!
I know an awesome child who would love to have his/her drawing in a video. Are you still taking submissions on your website? (thegogobrothers.com)
• Always! However, we can not guarantee their story will be in this new batch of episodes. 3 of the episode are already written and accounted for. However, we are currently looking at ways to incorporate more characters/drawings in other ways in the Go Go World.
When will we see the first new episode?
• Our plan is to have our first new episode completed by March 2021, and the other new episodes following every 1-2 months afterward.
When will we get our physical awards?
• Physical rewards will be shipped out within 3-4 months of the campaign ending. Due to its ending right during the holidays, we plan to use December, January, February to collect all of the rewards for everyone. We plan to begin shipping rewards in March-April. Digital Rewards will be sent much sooner.
Does it cost extra to ship internationally?
• We love our international fans! To keep your costs down, we will absorb any additional costs above and beyond what it would take to ship to you domestically.
