We know how important it can be for queer people to see representations and embodiment of queerness both in their personal lives and in art. We especially hope that InQueeri reaches an audience of young queer people who might not have an accurate representation of Queerness in their everyday lives.

Story
Mission Statement
InQueeri is dedicated to exploring Queerness, race, age, and sexuality, through the everyday experiences of our protagonists, Teddy and James. As a whole, InQueeri is dedicated to making a creative team of Queer artists, because for us, it is important for Queer bodies to be behind the camera.About The Project
InQueeri is a webseries that follows the lives of two queer college kids, Teddy and James, as they explore finding their identities in a world of liberal zombies and normative nancies. In addition, Inqueeri is a meditation on queerness, friendship, identity politics and just being a young person, confused about the world.
InQueeri blossomed out of our friendship and the crazy situations we found ourselves in. In many ways, we discovered our queer identities together and began to become aware of the ways in which our experiences are adjacent. At the heart, InQueeri is a celebration of our friendship and everything queerness means to us.
As observers and practitioners of the arts, we find that projects rarely present characters whose identities align with our own or those of our queer friends. We especially hope that InQueeri reaches an audience of young queer people, who might not see/hear/experience Queerness in their everyday lives.
The friendship formed between Teddy and James thrives off of isolation from their homogeneous, heteronormative college atmosphere. This is something that we worked to establish in the first two episodes visually, thematically, and textually. While InQueeri is inspired by shows like Atlanta and High Maintenance, this is one of the aspects that sets it apart from others.

LGBT SAN FRANCISCO
LGBT SAN FRANCISCO is the first book dedicated to photographer Daniel Nicoletta’s archive of powerful images tracing the burgeoning lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender mecca that was San Francisco in the 1970s to its present.
Nicoletta is perhaps most well known for his iconic images of Harvey Milk, one of the world’s first openly gay elected officials who was assassinated by a homophobic colleague in 1978, but Nicoletta’s 40-year ouvre is also a unique insider’s perspective on the years that followed Milk’s death taking us through the ebuliance and the pathos of the times.*This book was kindly donated by Celia Sack, owner of Omnivore books in SF!
