My team!!! I love my team!!! Well we got Chelo Ruiz a beautiful person and mastermind herself, and one of my best friends as Producer. She has a degree in Psychology and is great writer in her own right. She's currently writing a short for submission at Austin Film Fest. A film I'll be a producer on. Then I have to mention another Producer and gifted cinematographer, director on his own Napoleon Dey III. We met in film school and have been pushing each other ever since. Next we have vetern genius cinematographer Jose Zambrano Cassella!!! We met when he taught us at Full Sail, we worked togther on a film outside of school ten years ago, where I was his AD. He's so talented and in charge of his game. He worked with David Fincher, Tony Scott, shot for Alicia Keyes etc. That's how dope he is. He's become a very dear friend and we work together like a fast and furious Yin and Yang. Moving to the music we have the virtuoso musical composer Chris Boasso. A genius on many levels of music production and engineering. He graduated with us at the same time in the Recording Arts program at Full Sail. He has a background in blues, rock, and hip-hop. We have been working on a hip-hop album for the past 2 and half years. He's mixing it now. It will be available for free download on the website and will be used to promote the film. He really is a dope musician and very original producer. The final album instrumentals and full tracks will be mixed into the film as it's score. Another pivotal part of this team is Mr. Ron Kabele! He's a long time mentor of mine and a multiple Emmy award winning producer. He worked for decades at PBS for a wildlife show. He's won close to or more than 20 regional Emmys and National Press Photographers Ass. awards as editor and producer. He's always helped me a lot with advice be it technical or life lessons or even money. Another amazing member of this team has been Justin Schoneman throughout the years. He's starred in several of my short films in the last 13 years. He's also done some theatre and has produced for me. At this moment he's getting his PHD in Mathematics, he speaks fluent Japanese and spent 3 years living there. A life long friend we grew up three streets down from each other, every one skateboarded and congregated on his street beacuse there was a half pipe. Finally one of my best friends and a very passionate actor and Associate Producer, Voltaire Sonnier. We've been friends for 15 plus years. And he has always has just been my biggest fan. He truly loves my work. I didn't even realize how much of an impression it made on him till years later after we met. A very analytical thinker, Volatire's a design engineer for Oilwell Varco here in Houston. He let us use his new big house to shoot in, so that was dope. Also someone I consider a part of the I'm Not Rising! Productions family. I was honored to speak at his wedding 3 years ago.
