Mission Statement
Our diverse cast and crew represents the melting pot of cultures that make up the greater Atlanta community. Lisle's love interest, Luciana, personifies the idealistic artist more interested in creating social awareness than a lucrative personal brand.About The Project
Award-winning writer/director, Phil Foster, seeks funding for his GSU Master's thesis. Production will begin early March 2019. This campaign will empower us to execute our production plan to its fullest potential and allow us to submit the film to the best local and national festivals.
Nobody Loves a Genius Child is a short psychological thriller that chronicles 48-hours in the life of the art world’s newest rising star. Lisle has quickly risen the ranks as a prolific painter, producing raw and abrasive work. He’s been marketed as the bad boy, a hard partying womanizer with a troubled past.
Lisle’s mother, a fading beauty who’s fallen on hard financial times, seizes upon the recent success of her son. She attempts to blackmail Lisle for the proceeds of his upcoming show by threatening to reveal damaging information he's long kept secret.
We’ll explore why so often truly talented artists are stepped over for more marketable personalities and the motivations of those who enter the artistic realm with less than admirable intentions.
