A melanin powered campaign to lead the shift from the illusion of ‘individualism’ to ‘togetherness,’ by evolving from consumers to enterprisers. We achieve this by highlighting true stories of current and past entrepreneurial victories of Original Americans demonstrating our historical wealth and current economic progression through the principles of value, equity and community.

Originals Nation is a non-profit that exists to advance the economic interest of the diaspora. Our mission is to organize Black America to achieve equality through collective wealth building. We focus on raising consciousness and pooling resources/capital in manifesting a single-minded economic agenda. The Originals community is culturally conscious, skilled and progressive melanin beings of African descent that care about improving the economic condition.
EPISODE ONE | WEALTH EDUCATION
William Browne. He established the first Black owned bank in 1880. Born into enslavement, Browne served as a Union soldier during the American Civil War (1861–1865). Browne was a teacher and Methodist minister, who founded Richmond's Grand Fountain of the United Order of True Reformers, an Original fraternal organization.
Angel Rich. Education-tech start up founder compared to Steve Jobs by Forbes Magazine for revolutionizing financial literacy education. Rich created Credit Stacker, a mobile app designed to teach everything from budgeting, saving, investing and credit management. It's audience is urban and low income communities who often lack knowledge on how to access banking, car financing, financial aid, do their taxes, or successfully secure real estate and/or loans. According to Essence Magazine, "Rich viewed gaming, as the best venue to help advance the skills to needed to create generational wealth via an app."

Filmmaker and founder of Mama-Sans Entertainment, Angela has over 17 years television and content production experience ranging from broadcast news, short film and digital strategy.
Producer - Tommy Johnson
Lead Contributor of Originals Nation, a non-profit that exist to advance the economic interest of Black America. Coined a Rising Leader by Forbes magazine, Tommy is a commuity organzier and catalyst for approaching equality through collective wealthbuilding.
Producer - Lauren Brown
Writer and television producer Lauren Brown is a long time news journalist, culture and media critic who's media credits include The Weather Channel, Georgia Public Broadcasting, Current TV, Al Jazeera America, The Huffington Post, Huffington Post Live and The Young Turks Network.
