Can you make a quality short film in only seven days? For the fourth consecutive year we are taking the challenge of the 168 film project to create a ten minute short film in only 168 hours (seven days) based on a theme and a bible verse.

About The Project

For the last 4 years we have worked on different films for the 168 Film Project, competeing against each other while at the same same time earning a deep respect for the quality of each others work. Each year our films would get better and better, gaining more and more nominations and awards.

This year, the grand prize was raised signifigantly with a potential 1 million dollar film deal on the line. Since we have all been not only competitor but friends for several years now, we decided to combine teams and give it our best shot. Make no mistake, the competition will be tough; the Texas teams have made a strong showing over the last 4 years, consistantly leaving the LA teams scratching their heads at our level of quality and even more so at the nanobudget we use. Our past 9 films have collectivtely been made for under than $3,000.

The only way to do this is because of so many talented cast and crew members who love to have fun with us on set and trust us to create a quality project at final cut. Because they work so hard, we want to raise some money for better camera equipment, better lights, and better food (let's face it, if you are donating all your time, the least we can do is give you good food!).

About This Team

We believe that quality films are made when you get talented people who are passionate about their chosed field and give them the freedom to do what they do best. Alan Tregoning & Jason Walter Vaile are screenwriters and story tellers who have been writing together for ten years. In that time they have written for both film and television, winning multiple awards for their writing. Mark and Brandon have both won Best Film and Best Director awards in addtion to numoures others. Collectively, over the last several years, this team has been nomiated for over 70 awards, and won over 30, from film festivals across the country.
