We want to engulf the audience in a world that they might not know exists and one that is very unique in cinema. This is a very personal project for director Stephen Hoffmeister, whom this story is partially based on. We need your help to make this film as authentic as possible!

About The Project
THE STORY

Competitive High School wrestling is a world fraught with dangers that most people don’t know about. Six Minutes is the story of Logan and his traversal through this world of intense self-abuse and drugs - all for the sake of living up to his father’s expectations.

This story is very personal for our director, Stephen Hoffmeister, because he comes from the very same world. Due to the nature of the story, it needs to be as authentic and believable as possible, and Stephen brings a legitimate and sincere eye to the project. Nevertheless, we can’t make Logan’s journey come to life without your help.

About This Team

The Six Minutes team is comprised of talented and hardworking students from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. With our passion to tell honest stories, we all came together for our senior thesis to collaborate on this project that is nearly autobiographical and personal to our director, Stephen Hoffmeister.
