Story
About The Project
This script is an exploration of a nightmare had by the director, Zachary Lee Ratchford. In writing this film, we wanted to depict this dream truthfully as it was experienced emotionally by Zach. The desire to recreate that sense of terror and twisted logic allowed us to develop this world and it's characters through the prism of the subconscious.

About This Team
The three writers, Zachary Lee Ratchford, Jeremy Pickard, and Ashley Larsen all live in the North Georgia, East Tennessee area. They have been personal friends and colleagues, working together in projects for both the stage and screen. Our team is composed of mutual friends and fellow artists, writers, actors, and producers who are all exceptionally committed and excited about this project.
Zachary Lee Ratchford was born and raised in Dalton, Ga. He is a screenwriter and director having written two short screenplays and two feature length scripts while acting in the short, "Faye...1984." This is the first time he's collaborated on a script with anyone. He will also be acting and directing for this feature.Jeremy Pickard is a writer and director from the north Georgia mountains. He has directed for Ensemble Theatre Company in Chattanooga, TN and wrote and directed an original play, Dickcissel, for A Night of One Acts at the Dalton Little Theatre in Dalton, GA. This project represents both his first time writing for the screen and his first time collaborating on a work.This is Ashley Larsen's screenwriting debut. She is primarily an actress with a BA in Theatre and an MFA in Acting. A Louisiana native, she has acted in various stage plays and film projects around the southeast and had local performances in Titanic, The Musical, as Caroline Neville and the Night of One Acts at Dalton Little Theatre. Before moving to Chattanooga, she had the opportunity to perform in an original play in the NYC Fringe Festival. She will also be acting in this film.Mary Beth Torgerson has appeared in various local stage productions since graduating from Lee University in 2011 and making Chattanooga her home. Mary Beth, a Fort Payne, Alabama native, just completed performing the role of Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins the Musical in Chattanooga, TN. Most recently she took the stage with the Greater Cleveland Concert Band as the featured soloist performing “Selections from Carousel.” Other local credits include roles in Titanic the Musical and Les Miserables. Mary Beth made her film debut in the short “Faye....1984” and will be joining the talent at Brandywine Productions again for this upcoming feature.Eric Miralles is an actor and singer that has lived in Chattanooga for the past twelve years. Originally from Miami, Florida, Eric has been part of the local theater community for quite some time staring most recently in Titanic The Musical and Les Miserables. He has also served as lead stylist to a local theater company. Eric is excited to be making his film debut with Brandywine Productions in this upcoming feature.Johnny Krause is an actor and vocalist from Crossville, TN, now residing in Chattanooga, TN. A graduate from East Tennessee State University, he has a BA in Mass Communication and a Minor in Vocal Performance. Since moving to Chattanooga, Johnny has performed in several local theatre productions and various musical reviews. His recent theatre productions include the role of George Banks in Mary Poppins the Musical (2015), Shrek in Shrek the Musical (2014), J. Bruce Ismay in Titanic the Musical (2014), and Marius Pontmercy in Les Miserables(2013). Johnny has performed with the Asheville Opera, the ETSU Opera and the Cumberland County Playhouse in works such as La Traviata, The Bartered Bride, Beauty and the Beast, The Tender Land, The Wizard of Oz and Guys and Dolls. Johnny’s appearance in this feature marks his film debut.Chase is an actor who found his way to the stage early, coming up through the Murray Co. public school system, in Chatsworth, GA. He is based out of Dalton and has spent much of the last decade perfoming in the region, with his most recent theatre projects being, as a director, The Crucible and Frost/Nixon and as an actor, A Christmas Story (ACT) and To Kill A Mockingbird (CTC.) Beyond the stage, Chase is a voice over artist, Vice President of the Dalton Little Theatre Board of Directors and likes to dabble in on screen acting, with his most recent project, a faith-based film entitled 5 Blocks Away, just wrapped in Atlanta, this Summer. Coming up next, he will be shooting Down and Yonder, a feature film set in North Georgia.Jan Bramlett began her career in independent film by getting involved with locally produced indies and web series only six years ago. Her recent accomplishments in film include serving as Associate Producer for THE DAY AFTER STONEWALL DIED chosen as BEST SHORT at the Cannes Short Film Festival in November, 2014 and Producer of the critically recognized extras documentaries A DECADE UNDER THE INNOCENCE and RETURN TO OLDFIELD: MAKING FROM A WHISPER TO A SCREAM for the Scream Factory blu-ray release of FROM A WHISPER TO A SCREAM (released April 2015).Jinny Marie Jagoditsch hails from Dalton, Ga, where she began acting and improvisation in 1996. She is a long time veteran to many community theatre stages, most recently performed in Chattanooga Theatre Centre’s Festival of New Plays, and as Annelle in Steel Magnolias (DLT), for which she received Best Supporting Actress. She has also performed in front of the camera for independent films, including Coal River Crossing, directed by Will Taylor. She has directed several plays, such as Alice in Wonderland (MMPH) and The Jungle Book (DLT), among many others.We are excited to have other talented individuals join our team and make this film a success! -
