We're a mostly female crew making a dark, mysterious, character-driven crime drama series that's going to bust the genre wide open while bringing an ongoing, high quality project to Boston's burgeoning indie film community.
In Partnership With
Inclusion StatementOur series takes the traditionally hypermasculine crime genre and turns it on its head, placing a queer female lead at its center and making her the driver of the action. We are a primarily female-identified crew and are devoted to more diverse representation of women throughout the series.
About The Project
After being estranged from her parents for years, Fallon Esposito returns home to mourn the death of her hitman father and, feeling the call of something deep and unnameable, decides to stay in Boston longer than she planned. As Fallon spends time with her father's partner and former protege, she learns the grim details of how her father kept a roof over her family's heads all those years--and begins to discover the killer inside herself.
One of our biggest goals in making this series is to put a real, complex LGBTQ+ character at the center of the story without that story focusing mainly on her sexuality or a coming out narrative.
If we make our full goal (or exceed it), we will be personally donating 5% of the total cash we raise to GLAAD, so we can help drive more diverse representation in other ways, too!
