Imagine how you would feel if your doctors one day told you that you only had three years to live? Now imagine only being eighteen when this happened. That is exactly what happened to Brittney. She was only eighteen years old when she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer, a diagnosis that would surely turn many people's worlds upside down. She took this diagnosis and instead of dwelling in the fear decided that it wouldn’t be her death sentence and decided to embrace everything with an open heart and open mind.
She has been through hell and back within the last five years and still manages to wake up every day with a smile on her face and love in her heart. This film gives an uplifting, in-depth view of her life to remind the viewers that although life can be difficult at times, you are stronger than you think and that every little thing will be alright.

Director's Note
From the very first day I met Brittney she began to inspire me unconditionally with her love and passion for living every day to its fullest potential. She never lets the hard times bring her down and she always manages to have a smile on her face.
We started this film my first year in college and honestly, we never thought it would become this big of a project, it simply started out as two best friends who wanted to create a film and try to inspire a few people. Four years later and we turned this passion project into a feature film.
We decided to make this film shortly after we met because we wanted to share her story with as many people as possible. I figured if she inspires me, just imagine how many other people she could inspire with her positivity and mindset.

We started filming four years ago and we are finally in the post-production stage. We need YOUR help to raise $3,910 to finish the film. Although this might seem like a random number, I assure you it's not. Our team has spent many hours figuring out how much money we really need. Here's a little bit of a breakdown into how exactly we will be spending the money.
Festival Fees
We plan to submit this feature film to 15 film festivals, separated into three categories: safety, achievable, and dream, and how much money it costs to submit to them. It's important to have a mix of festivals with varying acceptance rates.
Safety:
- Orlando International Film Festival - $50
- Changin Documentary Film Festival - $35
- Marina del Rey Film Festival - $35
- Sarasota Film Festival - $50
- Artemis Women in Action - $75
Achievable:
- Topaz Film Festival by Women in Film Dallas - $70
- San Francisco Documentary Festival - $65
- Florida Film Festival - $70
- Global Peace Film Festival - $55
- Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival - $60
Dream:
- Sundance Film Festival - $65
- Toronto International Film Festival - $60
- Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival - $70
- Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival - $45
- Bergen International Film Festival - $50
Subtotal - $855
Travel Accommodations
Many of the film festivals we're planning to apply to are out of state, and even some out of the country. If the film got accepted, we will need the money so we are able attend the festivals in-person.
- Gas - $250
- Airfare - $600
- Accomodation - $450
Subtotal - $1,300
Post-Production
Even though we finished the production stage, we still need funding for the post-production procress of the film.
- Copyright Materials - $250
- Color Correcting - 350
- Sound Mixing - $300
- Music Composition - $500
Subtotal - $1,400
Contingency
You never know what's gonna happen in the future. Unexpected things come up often in film production, which leads to unexpected costs. The rule of thumb is to have 10% of your current total as a safety net.
10% of subtotal - $355
Total - $3,910
