Story
About The Project
The character we created dreams of a more exciting life, but when she gets that opportunity, the people she cares about the most are put in danger. She realizes that this exciting life isn’t that wonderful after all because the grass on the other side isn’t always greener. I too, have hopes and dreams of a more exciting life, but I can’t forget about all the wonderful moments in my life. If we can appreciate our lives the way it is, no matter how hard it gets, then we can appreciate what we have now and not just dream of a better tomorrow.
On a grander scale, it was important to myself and the writer, Andrew Freedman, to put out a film with a female lead. With the huge lack of female led films, as well as the stereotypes the female characters are put in, it's become our mission to be a part in changing that, starting with Ticketed.
One of my greatest role models growing up is Mulan. Throughout her story she hides that she is a woman to accomplish her goals but in the end, she triumphs not in spite of the fact that she is a woman, but because of it. Like Mulan, I want to accomplish my goals and receive equal respect without pretending to be a man.
Ticketed is about a woman, not a cliché, not a stereotype. She is a complex woman who thinks and lives and solves her own problems. I am drawn to Jackie because like her, I don’t want to try to be a man in a man’s world, I want to by myself in the world.”
Lastly, I'm a strong believer in the idea that we all need a little more laughter in our lives. Why watch a movie that will depress you if you can watch another movie that communicates the same message and idea, but actually puts a smile on your face? Films like Indiana Jones, The Princess Bride, Shaun of the Dead, and Die Hard are all in the same vein as Ticketed. These films tackle deep ideas and communicate powerful messages, all while having fun. I think most people are striving to be more happy rather than less happy, so it only makes sense to me to put out films that are going to make people feel good and possibly even better than before they watched the film.

About This Team
Director: Shantal is a passionate award-winning director with a portfolio of 35+ films working with exceptionally talented actors, cinematographers and animators. She lives for the excitement and unexpected challenges that come with directing.
Producer: Gleb Kiselov is a highly creative and resourceful producer. He founded a renowned international production company and currently produces projects for Creative Direction Studios, as well as short films for international and domestic clients.
Writer: Andrew Freedman started writing when he was only 6, and peaked at 7. His short films have won a plethora of awards and have screened at festivals all over the world. He is constantly working on several projects spanning genres of action-adventure, horror, thriller, and comedy.
Lead Actress: Sharni Vinson was born and grew up in Australia. Sharni began singing, dancing and acting at a young age attending the Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Sydney. She trained in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, tap, drama, singing, and musical theater. She was a member of the all girl pop group, "Foxfire IV” and then joined the cast of the television series, "Home and Away". Sharni played the lead role of 'Natalie' in "Step Up 3D” and the lead role ‘Erin’ in “You’re Next”. She starred in the film “Blue Crush 2” and the music video "Put Your Hands Up" for Matchbox 20 and many other films, pilots and television shows. Her most recent film “Dragon Blade” with Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrian Brody is set for release in 2015.

Cinematographer: Tigran Mutafyan is an award-winning Russian-Armenian director of photography. He graduated from a university in Yerevan with a major in Economy and then from Saint Petersburg for Psychology. On top of that Tigran has a an MFA in filmmaking and an MA in documentary film directing. He has a true eye for the dramatic art that can only be earned through developing his craft over time. He has a reputation for professionalism and tireless commitment to his films that has directors clamouring to work with him. Tigran has several new projects currently in early planning stages, both shorts from up-and-coming directors as well as features. His reel can be viewed here:
Casting Director: Jordan Bass has worked on TV and film projects including the Daniel Stamm directed thriller, The Last Exorcism, for Lionsgate, Strike and Eli Roth, It's Complicated starring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin, Joel Schumacher'sThe Twelve, the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, the family fun series Eloise in Paris, and the US casting for James Cameron's Sanctum.
Composer: Scott Reich has moved audiences from all over the world with his compositions. He has a doctorate in music composition and was lucky enough to study with the great Max Roach. His film scores have been recognized in various film festivals and contests, and his innate musical connection with film will bring Ticketed to a whole other level.
