Story
About The Project
This film is about opportunities, both taken and missed, that effect the lives of those around us. It's about those intimate, sometimes awkward, moments in private settings where nobody will see what we've done, nobody will praise us or shame us. It's just us and the person in front of us, the one who is hurting in a very real way. What will we do? What can we do?
The story came from an actual experience that I had at work. While I'd never wish it on anyone, I'm grateful for the chance to explore what happened and what could have been done differently, as well as the ability to share the story with others.

About This Team
Samuel Z. P. Thomas and Louis Hunter first collaborated in film school over a decade ago. Independently, they've worn many different hats in the industry: producer, director, writer, editor. However, their most satisfying success has been together - creating films and videos for the festival circuit and their clients.
Cast as a loveable but cantankerous old man in his 5th grade play, Louis Hunter found some big laughs and a love for performance. This evolved into a love for storytelling. After film school, a stint in television news, and other adventures, he’s come back to film. He and Samuel (his producing partner since college) have formed Ogopogo Film Co, a production company dedicated to connecting characters and audience. He has also seen life come full circle - becoming a loveable but cantankerous husband and father of two.
Samuel Thomas has a natural feel for story flow that makes him a great fit for both the director’s chair and the edit bay. He currently works in freelance production & post in a major U.S. market. He formed Ogopogo Film Co. with film school buddy, Louis Hunter, to produce quality stories worth telling, whether in their own passion projects or for their discerning clients. In addition to creating award-winning films, he is blessed by the love of his wife and three boys. And he enjoys playing Texas Hold 'Em poker (even when he doesn't win).
Lead actor, Christopher Cassarino, is currently attending the Graduate Acting Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts to acquire an MFA. He was born and raised in Milford, New Hampshire and has been living in Dallas since 2008. He received his BA from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Christopher has been acting professionally for nearly 4 years working primarily in independent film with a co starring role on the television series Army Wives. He has been featured in numerous national and international commercials, and has recently began a voice acting career being featured on multiple animation series. Christopher works behind the camera as well and has produced three feature length films, most recently the feature film "Novella".
After attending the Colorado Film School cinematographer Andrew Baird left for Austin to work on independent films. Over the last decade he has been learning the art of cinematography and working with some amazing and talented filmmakers and commercial production companies. He also occasionally directs and produces, but his heart is with cameras and sculpting light.
