The Story
A struggling young writer. A wad of cash. An unbelievable offer to collaborate with a best-selling author. What could possibly go wrong? Well, lots, as Skip Larson finds out. There’s a catch: Skip must spend six months at the ranch of reclusive author Chester Everett McGraw, during which time he can have no contact with the outside world, no phone, no Internet. The book deadline approaches fast, and Skip learns that writer's block exists in many forms, some of them quite deadly.

Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Jeannie Carter Cruz had a dream to become an actor. It all started when she landed a part for a school play when she was five. It wasn't until she moved to Austin, Texas that her dream slowly started to become a reality. She met and fell in love with a musician and they married in 2008. Jeannie has been consistently acting since 2010. In 2013, she took a leap of faith and with the support of her husband she quit her job as a medical assistant to become a full time actor. She decided she would give it a full year trial and if it wasn't working in her favor she would return to the medical field. She signed with Acclaim Talent Agency where she booked her first commercial within a couple of weeks and thankfully has been able to continue working her dream job. Since then she has established herself as a strong and talented actor working in film, voice over, music video, commercial and industrial work.
