I fell into acting in college, having never entertained the idea. I performed for the first time 13 years ago, and have never looked back. My love for acting is what gets me out of bed in the morning, and my passion to make a difference through my career choices and my performances, inspires me to constantly challenge myself. My other love has always been writing. It blossomed from a love of poetry, to being one of the first contributors to Ms. In The Biz, an online magazine style blog for industry professionals, for which I delivered over 17 articles. Having never written a screenplay before, I embraced the very scary but intriguing task. My Mom passed away when I was four years old, and that loss has influenced many artistic ventures over the years, but none as personal as this film. It's a tribute to her memory and a story that has always burned inside me.
