Hey, I'm Amy!

Amy Adrion is a writer and director living in Los Angeles. She recently completed her first feature film "Half the Picture" - a documentary about the dismal number of women directors working in Hollywood that had its World Premeire at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was an official selection of SXSW 2018. 

 

Amy’s short films have screened at the Tribeca, Los Angeles, Austin and Seattle Film Festivals, among many others, and have been broadcast on MTVu and WNET/THIRTEEN in New York City.  Her films have won a Directors Guild of America (DGA) Student Filmmaker Award as well as numerous film festival awards.

 

Amy is a graduate of the MFA film directing program at the University of California, Los Angeles. She grew up in Hillsdale, New Jersey and received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University where she studied English Literature and Theology.
