Hey, I'm Angela!

St. Louis, Missouri

Angela LaRocca is a St. Louis native, who worked extensively in the Chicago and Los Angeles markets. Beginning on-camera work as a teenager (nevermind that Sega commercial circa 1994), Angela’s passion for performing expanded to include college performances at the University of Illinois Chicago, and quickly discovering the improv world at The Second City. In Los Angeles, she frequently worked as a voiceover artist. In addition to radio work, moving to the west coast provided her the opportunity to write, perform and produce several shows at Improv Olympic, gained experience as a script supervisor, and served as producer for several short films and a pilot for Comicon in San Diego.

Angela took a break from the west coast to return to the Windy City, getting her bachelor’s degree in Television Production from Columbia College, with a concentration on Writing/Producing. While in Chicago she shot the improvised short, Irregular Fruit, which won “Best Comedy” in the Lake County film festival. She co-wrote and performed in a sitcom pilot based on working in an upscale steakhouse. She was lucky enough to end her final semester with an internship at Comedy Central in the Current Programming/Development Department. Now back in her hometown of St. Louis, Angela is keeping quite busy as an actress and host. She is represented by Talent Plus, for on-camera, voiceover, and print work, as well as Ambassador Talent in Chicago. Angela co-hosted the cooking show, “Taste Central,” where she worked with Rams football players, cheerleaders, and Chef Josh Galliano. She regularly hosts fashion shows through ESG agency and co-hosted Lumiere’s MyChoice MySummer Giveaway with Finnegan On Air and radio’s Cindy Collins. Highlights of her on-camera work has included the lead in award-winning films, “7 Minutes,” the indie feature, “Nate and Margaret,” in Chicago with Roseanne’s, Natalie West, and commercial work. Angela’s most recent live performance was her sold-out one-woman show, “Undercover Undergrad,” which premiered at the St. Louis Fringe Festival, and had a run in NYC, LA, and Rome. Angela’s voice can frequently be heard on radio spots, complemented by film projects and as well as numerous corporate videos. She is beyond ecstatic be able to continuously work in the field she loves, and looks forward to challenging herself both behind and in front of the cameras.
