Hey, I'm Christopher Lee!

Nashville, Tennessee

I am a filmmaker located in Nashville, Tennessee. After high school, I earned the title United States Marine, serving 10 years active duty as an Avionics Technician, Quality Assurance Representative (Inspector), and Aerial Gunner on Sikorksy CH-53D/E helicopters. During my time as a Marine, I deployed to Iraq 3 times as well as Afghanistan 3 times between 2003 - 2013. Upon completion of my active duty service, I relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas, and joined the Army Reserves to be a Drill Sergeant while also attending Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where I studied Acting, Directing, and Dance. After graduating, I moved to Austin where I began my full-time career as an actor and filmmaker white also continuing my post graduate education. In May 2019 I relocated to the Nashville area. I am primarily an actor and director, but you can often find me in the Grip & Electric department as a Gaffer or Key Grip, as well as, Camera department as a Camera Operator or Assistant Camera/Focus Puller. I also enjoy writing and producing films when I'm inspired.

While in Austin I met my friend and fellow veteran, Jacob Stone, and together we joined forces to create Stoned Hero Productions, with our philanthropy being helping other veterans use the arts as a way to combat and cope with mental health challenges, such as Anxiety/Depression/PTSD

Stoned Hero Productions is more of a play on words and I'd like to say we did it purposefully on a sorts similar to companies like Adam Sandler's 'Happy Madison' or the company in Austin called 'Rooster Teeth' that you may be familiar with. Yes, Stoned Hero, has a somewhat 'drug' reference; we chose that so we can have a side that shows we like to have fun and will do so with parody films. We are both veterans and with that comes typical hardships that veterans face. So the overarching theme, in my opinion, is that we face many obstacles in life (having stones thrown at us), and it's how we choose to deal with them that sets us apart. Stoned Hero Productions will be an advocate for helping veterans who have life throwing stones at them, find a way to overcome the odds and challenges like mental health struggles, and find a home in film, theatre, and performing arts as a way to combat those challenges. So yes, we are fun guys ... but we take filmmaking very seriously and look forward to making new friends and family in the film and arts communities.
