Hey, I'm Darryl!
Oakland, California
Darryl Jones, native to North Carolina and local to Oakland, CA is a filmmaker, actor and experienced video producer with a unique storytelling style featuring colorful characters and bold production design. All of This!!! is his second short film after Surprise Me, which was completed in 2014.
About the film:
All of This!!! was originally titled All of This Shit!!!. “All of this shit” is what I was saying to myself early in 2018 to describe the set of circumstances I found myself in: lack of meaningful work, relationship growing pains, idle creativity and the ongoing American sideshow of the Trump administration. I’m an eternally hopeful person, but sometimes life beats you down. However, things improved (for me at least) and I found a new meaning for my title, it was all of this life, not shit.
