Hey, I'm Davis!
Los Angeles, California
Davis is a Senior Film Production Major and Film Studies Minor at Loyola Marymount University who does in fact have legs despite his incredibly misleading profile picture. He holds a strong interest in how both comedy and tragedy are used to communicate a deeper meaning to an audience. Film and TV sparked Davis’ interest at a young age from Star Wars and Boomerang’s saturday morning cartoons to shows like Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, and Killing Eve. After gripping and assistant directing in the early years of college, Davis found his interest in producing. Since then, he has produced nine short films, directed his thesis, and is in pre-production for a short film and a documentary alongside Lesbro this spring. Davis signed onto Lesbro because the script uses witches and magic to comment on gender, but also because he thought he had a crush on Melissa Joan Heart from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Spoiler alert: he didn’t and girls are icky. Davis' dream is to create more LGBTQ+ stories as a means to further normalize gay culture and acceptance in audiences around the world. If he isn't spending his time on production, you can find him working at the Lion's Den coffee shop, or looking for the nearest open Taco Bell, then getting upset that it closed at 11pm.
