Hey, I'm Eleanor!

Los Angeles, California

My name is Eleanor, or Ellie for short. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I've written for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with the classics my freshman year of high school, and I started seriously pursuing film upon entering Emerson College, where I recently received my BA in Media Production. I am currently living in Los Angeles.

A wise man once said, "you never really understand a person until you consider things from their point of view." At its best, this is what film does. We can live inside of another person's skin for two hours or so, and hopefully, be more empathetic and understanding as a result.

The films I make vary in theme and genre, but generally, I believe film should be more than just an escape. It should help us understand our own reality. Those are the kinds of stories I want to tell.
