Hey, I'm Emily!
An award winning writer-director, Emily’s work spans fiction, documentary, and interactive media. Recent films include Song of the Basques, The Never Bell, and Sandorkraut which have been recognized by international arts and culture councils as well as The Smithsonian, NBC Comedy, ITVS, Jerome Foundation, Tribeca Film Institute, Brooklyn Arts Council, Marble House and Fulbright Foundation. Literature, Fine Arts and Music at Amherst College initially sparked her interest in Film. After earning a Masters at Courtauld Institute of Art, London, she moved to Spain and delved into cinematography and production-design around Europe, the US and Latin America. Emily is currently shooting an interactive sports series and in development on a two new feature films she's written- the drama Shopping Carts set in Staten Island and a thriller- All That Follows set in the Basque Country. She's partnerships coordinator for Film Fatales plays the cello, speaks Spanish, French and Basque, and competes as an elite triathlete and long-distance runner.
