Hey, I'm Faryl!
Los Angeles, California
Hi!
My name is Faryl Amadeus and I'm the writer and director of Mary, Meet Grace, a short thriller about a troubled young woman who accompanies a mysterious stranger to spread the ashes of the birth mother she so desperately wanted to meet.
I'm a native New Yorker, who now happily calls LA "home". I'm prone to early morning bursts of energy and drawn to beauty and emotion, which is how I was seduced into this kind of storytelling.
I love films about families, reunions, rigid structures and rules (such as religious restraints), and I love a pinch of sexual tension anywhere I can get it.
Community means everything to me and I'm so glad to be a part of this one. I can't wait to see and support all of you.
