Hey, I'm Jack!
Los Angeles, California
With nothing but a few pillows, a flight simulator joystick, a 90’s screen savor, and some oversized ski jackets, 8-year-old Jack recreated Apollo 13 in his basement. The film was a box office failure, but critics like his mom raved, “it’s one of the funniest things he’s ever made”. Jack carried his imagination and innovation through high school until it landed him at USC.
While at USC, he was selected to direct his senior thesis film ‘Bye Bye Bernard’, and immediately followed it with ‘My Friend D-Rone’, a web series from Ron Howard & Brian Grazer’s New Form Digital. Immediately after graduation, Jack jumped on the Netflix film ‘Little Evil’ as the director’s assistant. This lead him to PA on other film & tv sets, including FX’s Fargo, Disney’s The Lion King (2019), and Legendary’s Pacific Rim 2. He believes the best way to hone in his craft is to learn from the best in the industry.
When he’s not on-set, he’s developing a long list of projects that include four feature films, three TV Shows, a variety of short films, and an interactive experience that’s slated for production early next year. With each project is a new writer, a chance for Jack to hone in his craft with talented collaborators while making people laugh along the way.
