Born in Belgium, active as a lecturer Video Art for 10 years at the local art academy.  After i started extensively travel to remoted area's in Asia i decided to move to Indonesia.  Teaching video techniques to indigenous comunities, who need an urge to document their struggles.  I realised Indonesia's cultural heritage is vast and unique but got crushed by logging companies and its merciless economy. Countless tribes, who live peacefully in Indonesia's vast jungle have to flee from their grounds, moving to the city to end up in a life of poverty.

It's their in the city i met this other group of so called minorities,  the punks. I discovered their protest isn't that much different from those people i met, far in the remoted jungles. By realising all this i started with Lamunan Oi. An eco-film,  narrated by the streetpunk.
