Hey, I'm John!

418 Earned

I'm a filmmaker living in New York City. Been here pretty much my whole life, except for some time in Tampa and I do NOT like to talk about Tampa...

Ok, I'll talk about it, but I won't be happy.

I have had a love affair with movies ever since I saw Marathon Man in 1992. I rented it from a Brooklyn Public Library on VHS and spent the next two hours being amazed at just how much one can do with a great script.

I love comics, novels, and Oingo Boingo. My favorite movie is Wild at Heart by David Lynch.

I started out my filmmaking career with a web series called 8 for Vegas. If you're masochistic you can look it up. It was the first project I worked with my producing partner Julie Sisson on. From there we produced a music video, a short film, two tv pilots and our first feature, Stuck, which was accepted into six film festivals and has been nominated for a number of awards, including Best Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actress (Katie Howe).

We're very excited to get Four Bottles up and running.

A studio where creators are funded to make bold, daring, important work. Where independently minded audiences get to choose what gets made.
