John Taylor Timmons (born January 26, 1994) is an American film director, writer, and editor from Tallahassee, FL. He currently (2020) lives in Savannah, GA working at Red Eye Film Productions as the Co-Owner & Artistic Director. He runs the production company with his brother (CEO) Kewaan Drayton, and fiancé (Producer/Actor) Madison Abernathy.

Known for directing horror, thriller, and political dramas, John Taylor's most notable works are I Will Not Say His Name (2019), Testament (2019) Front Burner (2019) (Winner of 'Best Picture' at The 48 Hour Film Competition) and Bodies of Water (2018).

John Taylor graduated from Florida State University School of Theatre in 2017 with a B.A. in Theatre. He graduated in 2019 with an M.A. in Filmmaking from Savannah College of Art and Design.
