Hey, I'm Kristy!

New York, New York

First and foremost a creative producer, and content developer. I have also dabbled in casting, acting, production coordination, and social media. Born in NJ, my childhood was very much about the arts- being that I would sit down on the couch after school nibbling on pop tarts and watching anything and everything I could. When I was old enough to make a decision about my life career, I thought..."why not pick the most predictable, constant, reliable path- I'll be in the entertainment industry" All jokes aside, this has been an amazing and wild ride.

I graduated from Kean University with a dual degree in communication and film with a concentration in media and a minor in marketing. In college instead of party hoping I spent majority of my time at DGA screening room and closely with the VP of Publicity at Lionsgate Entertainment. At LG I worked on the first Hunger Games, What To Expect When You're Expecting, Good Deeds, Cabin in the Woods, and the 2012 Oscar nominated film Warrior.

After graduation I joined the company Automatic Art Pictures in the Philadelphia area where I produced and managed two short films, two television pilots, and one webseries. After gaining some footing and momentum it was then time to move to a larger market.

Now residing in NYC I work as a freelance production coordinator and creative producer. In 2015 I launched my own production company with my creative partner Nathan Fisher- Together we are Fishman Pictures (www.fishmanpictures.com) Fishman Pictures currently has a handful of productions in development including Errata, 12x60, Human+, Special-ish, and HAPPA.

When I'm not producing I try to be a part of production any way possible. Sometimes it's in the casting room, and others it's working as a temp agent. My latest casting accomplishment was working with CNN as the casting coordinator for TimeLooper, a 360 time placement app. I have also worked on Christian Ditter's "How To Be Single" NBC's RedNose Day, and RZA's Coco.

My newest venture is being accepted at Columbia University. Here, I'm obtaining an MFA in Film with a Creative Producing concentrate. It's totally rad to be doing what I want with my life and hope that we can all feel and see this in your own lives.

Okay okay, now that you’ve read my story, can I just say how I am immensely passionate about my work. I have a go getter personality mixed with an intense work ethic that is borderline a perfect obsession. I work with all budgets and look forward to having the opportunity to work with all individuals who are equally passionate about this wonderful ever changing industry.
