Hey, I'm Lisann!

Lisann Valentin is a Brooklyn-based actress, writer and filmmaker. She has been featured on Good Morning America, The New York Post, Latina Magazine and Fox News Latino.

 

A passionate storyteller, she co-authored the New York Times best-selling anthology Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It, she has written four short films and a spec pilot.

 

Her first short film, Our Quiet Night, ignited her passion for storytelling through film, and it became an official selection of The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and Cortocircuito: The Latino Shorts Film Festival of New York. Her second short film, Europeany, was an official selection of the Women In Comedy Festival, The Official Latino Short Film Festival and the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival.  Her latest short Just The Beginning premiered at the 55th New York Film Festival.  Valentin is currently in post-production on her most recent short film, Letting Go.
