Hey, I'm Madoka!

Watertown, Massachusetts

Madoka began her career as an actor, working in NYC and LA in both film and television. After making appearances in numerous indie films, she was inspired to direct and write.

She wrote a feature script that was a finalist for the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program. She then wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the short film Jumping In, which debuted at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival - Short Film Corner.

Her recent project Happy 40th, a feature film that she wrote, directed, and produced had it's world premiere at the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival.  It won Audience Awards at both Bend Film Festival and Woods Hole Film Festival, and she won "Best Feature Writer" at the 2016 LA Femme Film Festival.
