Nancy Beverly is the writer / producer of Shelby's Vacation, a short romantic dramady about to shoot in June 2016.  The feature version of that script made the semi-finals of Chicago's Pride Films and Plays contest and was hand-picked by Chicago's exec director for a stage reading at a gay pride festival in Vermont.  Her other current project is the webseries she co-wrote and co-produced, The Calamities of Jane, currently up on YouTube and on our website http://thecalamitiesofjane.com/.  Nancy has been a member of the writers / actors group Fierce Backbone since 2009, where she developed the plays Community (which made the finals of the American Association of Community Theatres play contest in 2015) and her drama Handcrafted Healing, which Fierce produced in 2015.  Nancy’s professional life began at Actors Theatre of Louisville where she acted as dramaturg on a number of Humana Festival plays – and had several of her own short plays produced.  In Los Angeles she has worked on such hit TV shows as Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer.
