Pamela Winfrey is an award winning curator and writer. She is currently working at Biodesign, a research facility attached to Arizona State University, as the Scientific Research Curator for two labs; Carlo Maley’s Evolution and Cancer lab, and Athena Aktipis’ Cooperation and Conflict lab. She produces exhibitions, programs, and installations that reflect their current research. Her book on Marconi launches in Feb. 2018 and she recently received a new commission to write a book about Palladio. She is emeritus at the Exploratorium where she worked as senior staff and curator. She has a BA in theater, an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts and is finishing up an MFA in television and screenwriting. She represented the United States at Ars Electronica interactive arts panel and was the lead curatorial consultant for Creative Capital in the emerging arts category.
