Russell Blanchard is an independent filmmaker who believes film has the power to inspire change. His most recent narrative short, THE LOT, has helped inspire a movement to build a new park for the children of New Orleans. He has worked with and learned from Academy Award winners’ Adam McKay, Sofia Coppola and Ari Sandel. Currently working to develop his first feature film titled MONUMENT. BFA from University of Hawai’i-Mānoa’s Academy for Creative Media. Currently splits time between New Orleans and Los Angeles.
