Sarah Garvey (Producer) is a creative consultant, producer, and veteran public relations professional who currently serves as BAM’s Associate Director of Publicity and as Secretary of the Board of Directors at ISSUE Project Room, where she formerly served as Communications Director. She recently produced a successful theatrical run of Richard Dresser’s dark comedy Below the Belt at Westbeth Arts as well as the short film All Against the Sea for Plug Ugly Films. She has independently consulted on communication strategies for Atlantic Pictures, Moby, Plug Ugly Films, Food + Wine, and Cooke Wax Partnership amongst others. Past work experience includes directing communications for Scandinavia House and Time Inc. where she managed publicity departments at Entertainment Weekly and This Old House. Before arriving at Time Inc., Sarah was a Senior Publicist at Gemstar TV Guide. She began her career at the public relations agencies Kortenhaus Communications in Boston, and Dan Klores Communications in NYC. A graduate of Boston University, Sarah also studied European Diplomatic History at Franklin College, Switzerland, and has completed fine art studio course work at Pratt Institute and The Brooklyn Museum.
