Hey, I'm Victoria!

New York, New York

Hiya! Im Tori, my pronouns are she/her I like to draw, play video games, consume Star Wars content, and protest injustice. But more importantly, I love movies. A lot.

I've been acting professionally since I was 7, and performing for as long as I can remember. (Seriously, some of my earliest memories are of filming my Dad's indie movie in like 2003 (maybe?) idk I was like 3) Working on Generation Wrecks is the first thing that has really solidified to me that I could have a future doing this. Proving that I can help produce, write, and act in a movie at 17 would validate every bit of heart I've thrown into being part of this industry. Just the process of writing and collaborating has not only helped me grow as an artist, but has helped me grow as a person. Writing about Liz helped me come out to my own parents as queer/bi. It's given me a way to process growing up, and leaving behind high school. It's something incredibly important to me.

That's what I want to do, create art that is personal and important. Movies, televison, theatre, and books; they're all practices in empathy. If we keep telling the same stories of white cis-het men saving the day we begin to condition our audiences into thinking that they are the only people deserving of that love an empathy. And white cis-het men can keep believing that they are the center of the world, and don't have to practice putting themselves in someone elses shoes like the majority of the world does regularly (and yes I am very aware I am making gross generalizations but sometimes they need to be made). I want to make the stories that promote love and tolerance, and tell the stories we don't hear as often.
