"Wonderfully macabre... a terrific contribution to the literature of the dead."
- George A. Romero.
"A well made and somber look at how the world ends, not with a bang, but rather with a broken heart and a disembowelment."
- John Landis
John La Zar (Beyond the Valley of the Dolls) and Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Argo) star in this award-winning short horror film that asks how far you would go to protect a loved one. Set during the calm after the storm of zombie war, this is a tale about a man so in love with his wife that he endangers everyone in the world. It is a film that defies the familiar, gore-driven tropes of contemporary horror, though it delivers just enough blood to satisfy genre fans. It is worth noting, while watching the film's memorable steak scene, that leading lady Adrienne Barbeau is a vegetarian. "She will forever be my hero for her grace and patience through all the yucky stuff," says writer/director Alex Horwitz.
