Watch Trailer
In the middle of 2009 when my mother told me that the Pink Paddlers were training for an ocean voyage, I dedicated myself to filming this momentous event. This documentary began because this Mana'olana women are amazing. They have undergone surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and have survived cancer. They have crossed part of an ocean to show their strength to themselves and to others. As they themselves said, their voyage is a testament to the face that there is life after cancer. My hope in creating this documentary is that I can show the strength and determination of the Pink Paddlers and the healing power of their voyage to as many people as possible.
