Mission Statement
The Story
Set during Halloween, the show combines the backdrop of fall and spookies and couples costumes with the whirlwind of falling in love.
We've hit 100%, and we would be thrilled if we could get some more contributors and help us with our stretch goals!
$4500 - Redwing Ridge is already writing our theme song and if we hit this we'll be able to make a music video featuring the cast.
$5000 - We'll be able to put money towards festival submissions, to enter competitions and help industry professionals see our work.
$5500 - We'll host a premiere in the fall when the series airs for our cast and crew, and maybe do a live stream and offer some exclusive content.
$6000 - This will allow us to increase what we are paying our cast and crew. Right now we'll be paying them a small stipend, and we'd love to give them more for their hard work.
Iris loves attention, Warner loves flying under the radar. So what happens when they meet at a party and fall for each other? They say opposites attract - but when one person wants to be surrounded by people and that makes the other a little woozy, is it really worth it?
Our team is currently in pre-production. If we reach our goal by the end of March 2019, we'll shoot the entire series (and all bonus content) at the end of May 2019. Post-production will take place in the summer, and we'll release for 7 weeks in the fall. This campaign will enable us to stick to this schedule, share the show with our audience and subsequently submit to festivals.

What we've done so far:
- Written the seven-episode script.
- Filmed a teaser trailer for the series.
- Hired a qualified female director.
- Secured some locations and sponsors, while continuing to reach out to other local businesses.
In order to produce our seven-episode season, we need your help. By supporting our campaign, you'll help us pay for equipment, get authentic props and wardrobe, and pay our incredible cast and crew for their work on the show. Your pledge supports the hiring of women and people of color who are so often overlooked by the film industry.

About This Team
Better With You was created by Amanda Taylor (who also plays Iris, the extrovert) and shot and edited by Kailee Brown, both of whom also produced this series because this is really their extrovert/introvert love story. The series is directed by Bri Castellini and produced by Sage Nelson and Hannah Bayles. Colin Hinckley plays Warner, the introvert half of the romance.
