The Story

Life was never the same for a group of girls who were kidnapped young by a sadistic man named White. Names were stripped, “special medicine” became a treasure, and cult rituals were the new normal. Spending years away from civilization, these girls only have broken memories and each other to remind themselves of their humanity. But life in the ranch house finally seems to change when two girls fall in love in an environment they were never supposed to be in. What does this love mean, and how far are they willing to go to protect it?

As the director of this upcoming thriller horror film “The Colorhouse”, I am honored to collaborate with Sanaz Tamjidi, the writer behind this exceptional script. Sanaz's masterful storytelling skills and unique perspective shine through in her writing, which is why I was immediately drawn to this project.
What impresses me the most about Sanaz's script is her unyielding passion for telling stories about all types of women. In today's world, we need to see more representation of women from all walks of life, and Sanaz's commitment to this shines through in every page of her writing. Her ability to craft a story that seamlessly blends horror and violence with fundamental human truths is nothing short of impressive.
I am excited to collaborate with Sanaz on this groundbreaking project, as I believe this film has the potential to entertain audiences while also shedding light on the many different types of women who might not yet feel seen in our modern storytelling.
I have no doubt that this film will be a success, as we are truly looking to play across many types of film festivals before finding a home online, and I am stoked to be a part of such an exciting, fun, and unique project.

We are currently amid a ton of exciting pre-production work, including building a passionate team behind the project from our Music Supervisor affiliated with West One Music Group, an independent music company bringing standout music to networks like Netflix and HBO’s latest The Last of Us series, to our talented Producers and Crew who have worked on several award-winning film productions.
Following the success of this campaign, we’ll be able to enter production this Fall and have a completed film by the end of the Spring. At that point, we will begin the festival circuit with a premiere and distribute the film via other platforms so that our generous supporters can see this vision come to life in any capacity.
Thank you so much for your support! We’re so passionate about this project and cannot wait to share our vision with you all. With your help, whether contributing financially or sharing and following the campaign, you can join us in bringing this twisted, evocative, cult-centric story we call “The Colorhouse” to life.
